Here is our meadow below the Ranch Pond. Beyond the fencing in the background is one our pastures currently being used for our "rescue horses". In the foreground is the family vegetable garden spot.
On your left is the Pond winter spillway.We are in the process of installing holding tanks below the pond to capture the considerable overflow that occurs during the rainy season.
This system will provide the necessary water for the Organic Farming operation and pasture irrigation
The Ranch Pond will operate by gravity and thus be a very efficient water delivery system. |
